Effectively control the volume of gas entering your well annulus with theVR™ annular vent valvefrom Baker Hughes. This proven solution minimizes free gas exposure to your electrical submersible pumping (ESP) systems—improving pump uptime while optimizing production flow.
This annulus control safety valve attaches directly to the top of your twin-seal submersible pump packer to control gas flow across the packer. The VR gas vent valve can also be mounted in a vent port in the packer to reduce the volume of gas.
Ensure reliable annular control with a simple, efficient design.
The VR vent safety valve is normally closed, but is effectively opened by applying control line pressure. Any loss of control line pressure results in a fail-safe closure to stop annular flow.
